NON-FORMAL EDUCATION AT SCHOOL. METHODS AND TOOLS TO EMPOWER STUDENTS MOTIVATIONS AND LEARNING

OBJECTIVES

·         Understanding non-formal education principles, within the context of cooperative learning, blended learning and flipped classroom.

·         Acquiring effective and best practice methods and tools.

·         Familiarise with principles, powerful techniques, tips and tools on how to pan and implement an innovative educational curriculum.

PROGRAMME

ü  15 May

Welcome: presentation of the course and participants. Brainstorming and team building. The 8 keys competences for 21st Century.

ü  16 May

Visit of the European Parlamient and overview and practical workshop.

ü  17 May

Energizers and team-building, theatre, storytelling and vide-making, role-playing, simulation and team games, environmental education tools, etc.



ü  18 May

Practical workshops of outdoor and indoor non-formal methods and tools covering different topics and fostering several competences.

ü  19 May

Conclusions and planning the follow up: future projects together. Course evaluation. Releasing of official course certifications.

Cultural visit of the city centre.
